How Do I cure puffy eyes?

There are so many things that can cause puffy eyes. Some of these things include allergies, aging, lack of sleep, excessive crying, hormonal changes, hangovers, fatigue, sinus issues, stress and if you are genetically predisposed. You can get the puffiness down with some home remedies that have worked for many women in the past. Of course, I know you don’t want to lose your beauty for one second, but the problem can be fixed. From cucumber slices to tea bags, your eyes can look refreshed in minutes.

Preparation H

People with hemorrhoids use preparation H for relief, but did you know that it can be used to reduce puffiness around the eyes too? It tightens the puffiness. Of course, it doesn’t have a pleasant odor so you can mix it with some moisturizer before applying. Don’t let any of the cream get in your eyes.

Tea Bags

Tea bags are excellent for reducing puffiness, but they have to be caffeinated since these contain a mild diuretic, natural tannin. This is something your grandma used in past years and you can too. Get two tea bags and soak them in warm water, after which you would place in the refrigerator for a few minutes to chill. Put the tea bags on your eyes and leave for five minutes. Your eyes will feel and look fresh.

For many women, fatigue results in dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. This can make you look aged in appearance. If you don’t do something about it, then it will only get worse. Put a slice of ripe pear or avocado under your eyes for several minutes to help.

Cold Spoon

What can a cold spoon do? It can tighten the skin under the eyes and relax your blood vessels to relieve puffiness caused by tired eyes. Place a few spoons in the refrigerator. Leave for up to 15 minutes. Put the rounded part of the spoon on your eyes after removing from the refrigerator. Keep it there until the chillness subsides. Repeat it for a few minutes.

Cut up thick slices of cucumber and put in the refrigerator for up to 10 minutes. Cucumbers have astringent and enzymes properties that help to lessen the inflammation and tighten your skin. This remedy also helps to eliminate dark circles and wrinkles.

Teething Ring

I am sure you are laughing at the idea of using a baby’s teething ring. But, it works. Put the teething ring in your freezer. Let it sit there until it is ice cold. Lie down and put them on your closed eyelids for approximately ten minutes to help to reduce the puffiness.

Eye Massage

Give yourself an eye massage by using the ring fingers and slowly massaging the eyes, starting from the corners. Do it in a slow and circular movement towards the outer corners. It will revitalize your eyes.

Puffy eyes are something that most women are willing to keep, especially if you have to work unless it is caused by genetics. So try these home remedies and refresh your eyes to feel more confident.
